About the Author

Pie Mathematics Association started functioning as a registered Trust from 18th June 2007 and got permanent exemption from Income Tax Department, Government of India under section 80G from 1st April 2009 for those who donate towards the Trust. We conduct periodical workshops for students of school and college levels and for teachers alike. We also organize lectures presented by eminent professors of international repute to motivate students for higher learning.

Pie Mathematics Association has released six books in the past six years in which Three are written in Tamil and Three in English. The fourth book titled "Engalin Ennangal" has been awarded as best Science Book by Government of Tamilnadu in April 2013 and it has won one more award from an NGO called Pavithram Trust, Chennai. Pie Mathematics Association released a book on Ramanujan on 30th December 2012 commemorating 125th Birth Year of Ramanujan, the greatest Mathematical Genius of India. This book has won one award from an NGO called "Kavithai Uravu" in May 2013. Ramanujan Book has also won the best book award from “Tiruppur Tamizh Sangam” in February 2014. In all our books has won four awards so far.

Pie Mathematics Association (PMA) specializes in presenting mathematics visually to enhance better understanding of Mathematics and make learning it a memorable experience. In this connection, PMA has prepared more than 60 models from primary to post graduate level covering almost all branches of Mathematics and these models was enjoyed by many students and teachers of various institutions throughout India. Further, we have more than 400 videos and documentaries in Mathematics and Science explaining almost all important ideas. These videos will help create interest among teachers and students and bring their understanding to a new level.
