Well I am a homemaker and mother of 3 kids. I am very passionate about cooking and for the last 50 years I have been experiencing. A lot of them have been asking me how l do some of the very authentic dishes, that is when this idea striked of writing a book. It almost took me 2 years for writing this entire book and I have tested every recipe that I have written in this book.
In chettinad there are a lot of dishes where the measurement/proportion of the ingredients that we add to the recipe is very important. By virtue of having cooked for so long I remembered all the measurements perfectly well. And I did not want to keep this to myself, I wanted to share this with the larger community. In today's world kids are so busy in studying and preparing for the next level in their lives they hardly know how to cook. Hence, I have even captured the simple recipe of how to make a coffee and that is how this book started.
